Mountain Medicine
Mountain Medicine aims to protect climbers and enthusiasts of high altitude by providing scientific knowledge about the health risks you can encounter while on an expedition or travel to high altitude locations.
Medical advice can make the difference from a perfect trip to a true outdoor nightmare, however, not every doctor is equally qualified to provide it.
With knowledge and experience gained through the Diploma in Mountain Medicine which is recognised by University of Leicester and the Union Internationale des Associations D’Alpinisme (UIAA), International Komission for Alpine Rescue (IKAR) and International Society for Mountain Medicine (ISMM), I am available to:
1. Evaluate
2. Train
3. Equip your team prior to departure.
Pre-existing medical conditions should not hold you back from an outdoor activity, we are equipped to evaluate in a personalized manner the medical needs of each individual on your team, as much as we can provide trainings to groups interested on first aid at High Altitude.
Find the destination around the globe, plan your itinerary and leave the medical support before or during the trip for my expertise.
